This online beginners course is designed to be used as a reference whilst attending regular Iyengar yoga classes with Otway Yoga. However with the current circumstances I am offering this free to all I hope that you may get some value out of it.... Enjoy :)
This Beginners Course is for students new to yoga or the Iyengar method. It is divided into 10 Lessons, which you can follow at your own pace and repeat as many times as you wish. Each lesson contains a 1 hour class, a 20 -30 minute revision class and some reading material to complete before moving on to the next lesson.
During the classes your teacher Mel will guide you progressively through a range of standing, twisting, seated poses, and inversions (asanas) to learn the basic foundations of Iyengar Yoga. When learning, repetition is very important, we all learn and progress at different stages. Once you have finished the course feel free to repeat it as many times as you wish.
